Zakat al-Fitr (Fitrana)
Rasulullah (s.a.w) said:
Allah Ta’ala has made Sadaqa Fitr Wajib, in order to purify the faster from pointless, useless and foul words and to feed the poor and needy. Whoever gives their Sadaqa Fitr before Salat on Eid day, then that will be an accepted Fitra. However, if they give after the prayer on Eid day, then it would be counted as a normal donation.”
Muqabala
Muqabala (people reciting the Qur'an to each other)
There will be Muqabala one juz each day. First one will be at 13:00 and same juz will be repeated at 17:00 by Hifz.
Each Juz will take around 30 mins to read. Sisters can attend as well. Please try to bring your own Quran as you will need one to follow as the hifz recites.
"Muqabala" is a term related to the history of the Qur'an. Jibril (as) comes every year in the month of Ramadan and recite the Qur'an with prophet ﷺ.
